An Israeli start-up company, Adaptive Imaging Technologies, revealed a powerful, new video surveillance camera that has a 1,000 MPX (mega-pixels) or 1 GPX (gigapixel) of resolution. Traditional surveillance cameras range from 1 MP to 15 MP; the new camera, known as a “panoramic telescope,” has up to 100 times the resolution of current offerings. (more…)
