With the release of the hugely popular Cell Phone Recon software, we have been trying to update the compatibility list as fast as possible. Since there are so many different smart phones and so many carriers as well as the various types of service available from the same carrier, we are trying our best to update this. Please bear with us as the information is comping in fast and we are updating as fast as possible.

Cell Phone Recon is now compatible with Symbian 9.x and 8.x devices. The Symbian OS version has every feature of the Windows Mobile version, but does not record web URL’s visited.
You should have an Internet enabled carrier so the software can upload logs. Your cell phone account must have the Internet enabled so the Cell Phone Recon software can upload logs to your account.

Does not work on any iPhone devices whatsoever! Sorry!
Does not work on Sprint phones using MEID! (Must have IMEI Number)
Does not work on Verizon phones using MEID! (Must have IMEI Number)
Does not work on Boost Mobile phones using MEID! (Must have IMEI Number)
Does not work on any phones that are using MEID number. Check your phone information or contact your service provider to verify before buying. (Must have IMEI Number)
Note: An IMEI number is a 15 digit number which is what you want for this to work. An MEID number is an 18 digit number that will not work with this software.

The Cell Phone Recon Software is compatible with most smartphones running the Windows Mobile operating system. This includes Windows Mobile 2003 SE, 5.x and 6.x phones. A partial list of compatible phones is shown below. Even if you don’t see your phone on this page, any Windows Mobile based smartphone (not Pocket PC) with Internet connectivity will work.

Additional Requirements: The Windows Mobile 5.0/2003SE version of Cell Phone Recon is designed on the .NET platform. You will need to install the Microsoft Compact .NET Framework files to your phone. This is an easy free download and we provide instructions. Dependent on how much memory is free on your phone you may need to install onto your phone’s memory card. But usually it will fit on your phone itself. This installation is not required for Windows Mobile 6.x Phones.
